Software
In addition to the software that we use to create our work, there are two important pieces of software that we use during a live interactive performance.

Isadora®
Created by Troika Ranch Artistic Co-Director Mark Coniglio, this program allows the real-time manipulation of video imagery and other media. By manipulation, we mean visual distortions (warping, spinning, keying) or temporal distortions (playing material backwards or forwards, jumping in time, etc.) The video input to Isadora can be prerecorded digital video files or live input from a camera. Isadora is commercially available from TroikaTronix.

Interactor LPT (no longer available)
It is a graphic programming language specially designed to be used as the "brain" of a live-interactive performance. Typically, all of our sensory devices generate MIDI messages. These are received by Interactor LPT which has been programmed in advance to take specific actions when these messages arrive, usually sending out MIDI commands to music synthesizers, video processing software, MIDI controlled dimmer packs and other hardware. After many years of use, we no longer use Interactor LPT, as its functionality has been superceded by Isadora (see above.)
