| We are interested in hosting these performances for several reasons. First, it is essential to invent inexpensive ways to keep performances happening in a time when funding of dance and the other performing arts is slim. Second, these performances bring together our colleagues in the dance community for a lively event that has the bonding element of potential incarceration. Finally, it gives all of us in Troika Ranch a break from the extremely complicated technical setups that most of our formally performed creations require.
