• These are paid positions; fees offered are US$700 (440 Euro) per week + per diem
• The audition is for two separate project times:
• Project 1: between Aug 11, 2008 and Sep 1, 2008 - 3 weeks of work total
• Project 2: between Sep 21, 2008 and Oct 18, 2009 -- 14 weeks of work total; see specific dates below
• Dancers who are available for both work periods strongly preferred.
• A reasonable command fo the English language is required

Multimedia dance theater company Troika Ranch (NYC / Berlin) is seeking 2 or 3 male dancers for paid work between August 2008 and November 2009. The work period culminates with the premiere of the company's new work "Loop Diver".

We are seeking men with solid contemporary technique and a high level of improvisation skills. Troika Ranch is developing a new work through several residencies and work-in-progress performances in the US and abroad. The process is very collaborative and specific and we need dancers who are willing to contribute fully to that process.

Dancers must have a reasonable command of the English language, as rehearsals will be conducted in English.

Dancers will be paid US$700 (440 Euro) per week plus per diem amount dependent on the city in which they are working.

Troika Ranch has secured a P1 Visa to work with European dancers for the US portion of the schedule. If you are European and are hired, your name will be added to the Visa so you can work legally with Troika Ranch in the USA between November 2008 and November 2009.

Feb 1 - 8: Performances & Teaching, North Carolina, USA
Apr 19 - May 8: Creative Residency, NYC, USA
May 9 - 16: Creative Residency, Lincoln, Nebraska, USA
July/Aug/Sep: Creative Residencies in Europe (Dates TBA)
Oct 11 - 18: Premiere, Lincoln, Nebraska, USA

It is likely that dates added to this schedule as there are presenters interested in touring the work in 2009/2010. The schedule will be negotiated with the dancers as it develops.
